Jewelry Care and Storage

Our DNA and Fingerprint Jewelry styles are beautiful, high-quality heirlooms worth protecting. When not in use, store each Ring individually in an airtight bag to guard from humidity. Avoid all chemicals (including chlorine, hairspray, bug spray, lotions, etc.), which can be damaging to fine metals. When you care for your Jewelry, it will return the favor with many years of cherished comfort and love. Other best practices for caring for your custom Promise Ring, Engagement Ring, or Wedding Ring depend on their metal type.

14k Gold

When cleaning 14k Gold Jewelry, use warm water and a mild dish washing soap. Begin by soaking your Jewelry for 20-30 minutes in the solution, then gently clean it with a soft cloth or soft-bristled brush. When finished, rinse with lukewarm water to remove any soap residue, and pat dry with a clean soft cloth. Avoid chlorine and other harsh chemicals when wearing or cleaning your 14k Gold.
